Pre DSC 1/Introduction to Deer Stalking Course

Our Pre-DSC1/Introduction to Deer Stalking Course, is run by Mark and Rob in Suffolk near Woodbridge. This is an ideal course if you are looking at getting in to deer stalking or would like some extra practise before doing your DSC1.

You will spend the first day on theory and a bit of practical, including: biology recognition, the 6 UK species, habitat and deer site visit and much more. The second day will mainly consist of practical including shot placement and simulated stalking. This gives the candidate a chance to shoot targets under pressure at different ranges and to shoot in different ways, with plenty of time to ask for assistance from members of staff in order to perfect marksmanship skills. Range work is one of the most common failings in DSC1 simply due to a good shot being put under pressure.

We run courses with up to 10 candidates at £150 per person.

Rifle, ammunition and binoculars can be provided if needed, but if you prefer you are welcome to bring your own. You will also need outdoor clothing and boots.

Light lunch provided on both days. Local accommodation can be arranged but is not included in the price.

We have a course running on 9th &10th March 2019 with a few spaces left. Please contact us for more information or to book.
